Support Coordinator
Support Co-ordinator
At COPE Ltd we are seeking a Support Co-ordinator who will ensure appropriate support is in place to enable people with learning disabilities and/or autism to engage in employment skills development and volunteering placements in our business settings - Shetland Garden Co, Shetland Home Co and Shetland Soap Company.
The post holder will be expected to lead referral and induction programme and oversee ASDAN qualification (training will be provided to those not familiar with ASDAN). The Co-ordinator will also lead on communication with families, carers and other stakeholders and will take ownership of support documentation - risk assessments, PEEPs etc.
It is expected that the Support Co-ordinator will regularly spend time in each business so the ability to travel between settings will be important.
A PVG is essential for this role, and must be obtained before an offer of employment can be made.
COPE's Hours of Work are Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Our shops are also open on Saturday, but no placements are provided that day.
We adopt Flexible working however it is expected that the post holder will be able to commit to regular attendance on each work day to ensure they build relationships with all participants, some of whom are only in one session per week.
Salary will be dependent on experience.
COPE Ltd offer 6.8 weeks annual leave pro rata and staff discount which can be used across the three businesses.
