Scottish communities secretary Aileen Campbell at Shetland Soap Company

We were thrilled this week when Aileen Campbell, Cabinet Minister for Communities and local government visited us at Shetland Soap Company. Campbell spent time chatting to staff and participants and even had an opportunity to make some glycerine soap.

Ingrid Webb, our CEO, discussed the impact of COPE Ltd and the opportunity to gain skill development and supported employment had on the everyday life of Adults with learning disabilities in Shetland. She added, “Working alongside a great team of people who live COPE’s values on a daily basis, is a great business model”.
